New Thalian Players will be holding open auditions for their spring production of The Laramie Project, directed by Timothy L'Ecuyer. Auditions have been extended to Saturday, January 28th from 3pm-5pm at Webster Hall (Mara Lecture Hall) on the SNHU Campus.

Performances will take place at Robert Frost Hall (Walker Auditorium) on Thursday, March 22nd and Friday, March 23rd at 8pm.

PREPARATION: Please prepare a brief 1-2 minute monologue from a contemporary play.

The play consists of 86 roles, and will be performed with a cast of 10-15 people, each playing multiple roles. There are roles for ALL ages.

ABOUT THE PLAY:  Laramie, Wyoming is a pleasant town that was thrust into national attention following the 1998 murder of gay student Matthew Shepard. The play draws from a series of interviews conducted by members of the Tectonic Theatre Project with the people of Laramie and explores the reactions of the inhabitants to the events surrounding them.
