How We Rent Items
We typically rent only to Theatre groups. Our fees are low for non-profit theatre groups, but we always charge a high deposit on items rented.
Customers need to come to our warehouses to pick up and drop off items rented. Currently we do not ship any rental items.

Why We Charge
All fees collected are used to help keep NTP running each year. All of our staff is volunteer and receives no compensation for their efforts. The fees are also used to pay for repairs to damaged items, and to purchase new items.
Why such a high Deposit?
We try to charge as little as possible for our rentals. But we need our items back - they are valuable to us! Our experience has shown that high deposits ensure the prompt and safe return of all rentals.
Late Fees
Currently we do not charge late fees. Still we respectfully request items be returned within 1 week of a productions last show.

Detailed Rental Information

Rentals - We have a very large selection of costumes and costume pieces available for rent. A fee and a deposit is required for each costume rental. As each costume varies in complexity and scope, the fees and deposits will vary. Group discounts are available. Email us to make an appointment to view our costumes.
Creation - We have a costumer/seamstress who can make or alter costumes for you at an hourly rate, not including materials. Email Mary Selvoski (m.selvoski@comcast.net) to set up an appointment, and to discuss rates.
NOTE: we do not rent for Halloween - only for theatre productions

We have a decent selection of unique props. A deposit is required for each prop rental.

We rent Flats and risers for no charge to theatre groups. We require a $25 deposit per 4x8 piece rented.
Fees for Set Pieces (chairs, couches, tables, etc) are determined by the piece rented. Deposits for Set Pieces range from $10 to $100 depending on the items rented.
