BBQ Reunion!

July 1, 2010

The New Thalian Players are reviving an old tradition; the yearly BBQ at Beth Ann O’Hara's house in Bedford.  Except this time, there’s no meeting. This is strictly for fun!  Since we weren’t able to produce Theatre in the Park this year, we don’t want a whole year to go by without seeing all your faces.

We’ll be supplying the hamburgers, hot dogs, and sodas.  And buns.  You can bring a side dish to share if you wish, but your presence is what is most important.

Dates:

What: A “Family Reunion” BBQ

Where: Beth Ann O’Hara’s house; 206 County Road, Bedford, NH

When: Saturday, July 31st, 1pm-6pm

Why: Because we miss your faces!

RSVP:

Beth Ann  668-6068, Beth Fenske 371-0608

Hope you can all make it!

It is with a heavy heart, and great disappointment, that the New Thalian Players announce we will not be able to bring "Theatre in the Park" - our planned production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" to the city of Manchester this year.

For the past five years, with no home space or stage, the New Thalian Players has struggled, against all odds, to bring FREE, live musical theatre to the people and families of Manchester, and to all who visit.

We are one, small, non-profit, community theatre and the thousands and thousands of dollars it takes to produce such an event in the city of Manchester, have simply overwhelmed us in this economy.   We sincerely hope that re-focusing our efforts on fundraising this year, will enable us to bring Theatre in the Park back next summer.

In an effort to summon support for "TiP", we included in our mission statement, a quote from Winston Churchill: "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."  If the residents of the city of Manchester, and towns surrounding, remember fondly what we've given, then we've accomplished something well worth the work.

For the last five years, we give heartfelt thanks to those who have made it possible:
